For 21 years, Vicki’s Diner has been a key part of Westfield, NJ. I remember going there after softball games with my team or enjoying grilled cheese sandwiches with my mom. When COVID-19 struck, the beloved diner struggled and was on the verge of closure; however, with the help of loyal customers and Westfield residents, a GoFundMe raised over $35,000 to keep the diner afloat. This support helped Vicki’s recover and thrive again. My photo essay explores the diner's history, challenges, and how they are doing now after the lockdown.
